Skill Building: Cast On Techniques - Saturday, February 8, 12:30 – 1:30 pm

Boost your knowledge and skill set with this class focused on different cast ons. We will cover what cast on to use in different scenarios, and pros and cons of each. Techniques covered in this class include:

• Backwards loop cast on

• Knitted cast on

• Cable cast on

• Longtail cast on

• German twisted cast on/Norwegian cast on

• Italian tubular cast on

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner or Intermediate

Materials:

• Worsted weight yarn in a medium to light color.

• Size US 7 or 8 needles.

Class price: $40

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
