Beginner Brioche - Saturday, April 5, 10 am - 12 pm

Brioche knitting is a technique that creates a reversible fabric with a lovely squishy texture.  In the class you’ll learn how to: 

• Understand brioche pattern abbreviations.

• Brioche knit and brioche purl.

• Learn two color brioche.

Pattern will be provided upon class sign up.

Skill Level: Intermediate: Must be able to cast-on, knit, purl, increase, decrease and knit in the round

Class Materials: 

• Yarn: Two skeins of worsted or aran weight yarn in contrasting colors (approximately 400 yards total)

• Needles: US 9

• Stitch marker

  We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Class price: $60, includes pattern

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
