ONE SPOT LEFT! Beginner Knit: Fundamentals: Sundays, January 26 and February 2, 10 am - 11:30 am

Join us for an exciting 2-part beginner’s knit class where you'll master the fundamentals, from casting on to knit and purl stitches, and beyond! By the end of this series, you'll proudly craft a cozy for your glass, bottle, or even your iced coffee!

Class 1: Learn the basics: how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, counting rows, gartner vs. stockinette, and how to cast off. We will end class by casting on for our cozies.

Class 2: Finishing your cozy: We'll take a look at our work and check our measurements. Class will finish by binding off our cozies and seaming the side to finish. By the end of class you will have completed your first project!

Yarn: worsted weight, preferably in a lighter color
Darning needle

We ask that all yarn for classes be purchased in the shop. 10% discount will be applied. Materials can be purchased at the shop prior to class.

Christine has been knitting for almost 20 years and crocheting for close to 30. While she makes all things ranging from socks to shawls to stuffed toys, her favorite thing to knit is a sweater. On the rare occasion she is not knitting, you can find Christine gardening, baking sourdough, running, or at Disney.
